Former Tennessee Titans offensive tackle Andre Dillard, who played with the team for just one season in 2023 after signing a three-year deal last offseason, recently landed a new contract with the Green Bay Packers.
Prior to signing with Green Bay, Dillard had interest from the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs and took a free agent visit to KC.
Both Green Bay and Kansas City need tackle help, but Green Bay made the same mistake the Titans did last offseason - signing Dillard with hopes that he can live up to his status as a former first-round pick or recreate his 2021 success.
Dillard is only 28 years old. A fresh start with a franchise known for great coaching of offensive linemen. https://t.co/w1sgxH3jSR

After surveying some of the fan reactions to the news, Packers fans are certainly going to be disappointed when they realize just how detrimental Dillard is to an offensive line. His first-round pick status means nothing nowadays.
Anybody who watched Tennessee Titans games last year can tell you that Dillard doesn't have what it takes. He doesn't have the physical ability and he certainly doesn't have he mentality to be a productive or valuable offensive lineman.
It doesn't matter that he is former first-round pick. That pick was made by the Eagles on nothing but projections. That was five years ago now and there's a legitimate case to be made that he was the worst offensive lineman in the league in 2023.
For the last five years, Andre Dillard has shown NFL teams who he is. Teams need to start believing him.
